A Note from Jim

Dear friends,

The Orchards villa overlooking Monkey Face Vineyard

Good neighbors, fun events and encouraging sales summarize the fall activity here at Ranch at the Canyons. We’ve bottled wine, increased hay production and created a lovely new entry to this exquisite property. Fall is a gorgeous time to see the Ranch, enjoy a crisp hike on the river’s edge and see the Old Winery Clubhouse emerge from the ground! Please come by for a visit; we’d love to see you.  Jim Gardner, partner

News from the Ranch

Visitors to the Ranch can now enter through the new Eby Avenue entrance that leads to the recently opened Phase III landholdings.Working with the partners, craftsmen Al Rollins and Kevin Spencer hand created the Tuscan/Napa style rock walls, columns and entryway island with the same character reflected in rockscapes throughout the Ranch.

More than 150 neighbors, landholders, craftsmen, leaders and friends of the Ranch enjoyed our annual Harvest Picnic. This is always a great time to welcome neighbors, and to thank the craftsmen who have contributed to making this one of the most special places on earth.

The Ranch provided a an idyllic nighttime setting for this picturesque wedding reception. Photo by Jamie Bosworth.

Meantime, the Tuscan Stables served as home to another lovely wedding. The Jensen family and friends were delighted to see the young couple exchange vows in our spectacular setting.

"Thank you so much for the use of your beautiful site for the wedding. It was all so beautiful and even more spectacular than we’d anticipated. It was magical.”  Marilyn Jensen, Mother of the Bride

Residents Mike and Sherry DeGennaro hosted the final “Discovery Series” educational program for the season. Landholders and friends heard from Bob Boyd, the Western History curator at the High Desert Museum, who brought unique artifacts influenced by the Spanish Vaquero era. The Discovery Series resumes this spring.
