News from the Ranch
It’s been an exciting summer as we opened Phase III of our landholdings,Trout Lakes and the headwaters of several streams. We also broke ground for the Old Winery Clubhouse, continued erecting the new Equestrian Center and have nearly completed the Rockscape entry way off Eby Avenue.
Residents Mike and Sherry DeGennaro have chaired and hosted two “Discovery Series” educational programs for landholders, neighbors and friends. The most recent one focused on Native American history, and specifically the Northern Paiute Tribe. It’s clear that people who live at the Ranch love the spectacular natural scenery of this special place and have a genuine appreciation for its history as well.
This summer we also hosted an ongoing art exhibit at the Tower Theater in downtown Bend to share watercolors, photography and films featuring the Ranch. We have two more exhibits on Sept. 1 and 2.
The uniqueness of the Ranch continues to attract positive media attention, with recent local features in the Bulletin, The Redmond Spokesman, Cascade Business news and Bend Living magazine.

Home on the Ranch
Our exquisite villas and the Tuscan Stables have been home to several weddings this summer. People who attended the ceremonies commented that this is one of the most distinct and remarkable backdrops for a wedding anywhere in the world.
It’s no wonder that the developer of the popular Old Mill District in Bend, Bill Smith, said of the Ranch, “The attention to detail at Ranch at the Canyons makes it one of the finest developments in the history of Oregon.”
