A Note from Jim
Dear friends,

Mick and Jim break ground for new Clubhouse.
|
The background was picturesque and the spring day was perfect for the recent groundbreaking of the Old Winery Clubhouse. This highly anticipated gathering spot for landholders is underway, and we will keep you apprised of our progress. The Equestrian Center is also under construction, as are the Eby Avenue entrance and the trout lakes of Big Meadow. We hope you will visit the Ranch soon to see for yourself the blossoming orchards, vineyard varietals and lovely landholdings that make this place so special in the spring.

News from the Ranch
Ground has been broken for the Old WineryClubhouse and construction has commenced. Designed in the Tuscan/Napa style, the Clubhouse will be the crown jewel of our Ranch facilities and a magnet for social activities and relaxation. We look forward to the time when landholders and their friends and families will be able to savor the Great Room, the Atrium Courtyard, the wine tasting area, the Tower Library, the gym and spa, the lakeside courtyards and infinity-edge pool. Here, landholders will be able to enjoy dinner and wine to cap a perfect day on the Ranch.

Gardner's booksigning for Oregon Blue Book. |
It was a shining moment for the Ranch at the Canyons recently when the photo “Cattails at Sunset Over Teal Lake”was chosen by Secretary of State Bill Bradbury as the cover of the 2007 Oregon Blue Book. The photo was unveiled at a ceremony in the Oregon Capitol on March 21, and the beauty of the photo of the Ranch was recognized on both the House and Senate floors. Each member of the legislature received a copy of the book, which is also on sale statewide. It’s exciting to think people all over Oregon are now seeing the Ranch’s beautiful scenery each time they refer to this useful almanac and fact book.
“It’s our pleasure to congratulate Jim Gardner for capturing such a lovely Central Oregon sunset. Now we can all enjoy this moment when we refer to the Oregon Blue Book.”
– Bill Bradbury, Oregon Secretary of State
