A Note from Jim Dear friends,
It’s an exciting fall at the Ranch. We recently hosted two fun-filled and well-attended events. First,we inaugurated Monkeyface Vineyard at the Ranch, which is the first vineyard in Central Oregon. Next, we hosted our annual get together to honor our neighbors and local craftsmen. Enjoy the photos on the back page. Also this fall, the Ranch won building and photo awards and impressive media attention. Plus,we are experiencing exciting progress in sales, and in the building of vineyards, lakes and villas at the Ranch. Please visit us any time!

Villa Rosso at the Ranch has been honored with six awards by the Central Oregon Builders Association (COBA), including the prestigious Best of Show and Best Value. Other COBA awards bestowed on the villa were Best Front Façade, Best Interior Design, Best Kitchen and Best Garage.
The media continue to highlight the Ranch: The Oregonian’s premiere issue of Ultimate magazine featured a cover photo and seven-page article about our architecture, landscape and distinctive amenities; Brainstorm NW highlighted the Ranch for providing the perfect backdrop for movies such as “The Postman” and “Swordfish”; and The Bulletin included our Tuscan Stables in an article about horse-friendly Central Oregon locations.
Finally, Ranch and Rural Living Magazine recently published “Cattails at Sunset” after selecting the image as the winner of its annual photo contest.
In September, many current and prospective landholders joined us for the inauguration of Monkeyface Vineyards, where we tasted impressive varietals of wine, enjoyed a lovely meal, listened to local musicians and made our official entrance into the wine community. A week later,we held the annual Harvest Picnic for our landholders and homeowners, neighbors and local craftsmen, where our friends and family enjoyed the spectacular vistas, lovely fall climate and tasty BBQ. Enjoy photos from both events below.
