Wildlife, including elk and deer, coyotes, rabbits, badger and marmots, can be found in abundance in this hidden preserve. Each evening herds of deer graze in the peaceful Ranch meadows, set against the pinnacles of Smith Rock. Waterfowl, among them Canadian geese and a huge variety of ducks, follow the ancient flyways over the Ranch, and take rest in the still waters of our lakes, river and streams. Numerous raptors, including Bald Eagles, Red Tail Hawks and Osprey, circle the big skies above the Ranch.
