World Class Fly Fishing

Ranch at the Canyons makes a grand setting for fly-fishing. Landholders have private access to more than two miles of the Crooked River, and secluded scenic fishing at the foot of Paiute Falls. In addition, they can fly-fish for native brown and rainbow trout on the numerous lakes and ponds of the Ranch, including two cold water lakes designed to yield trophy trout. The Partners, working with the Deschutes Basin Land Trust and the Crooked River Watershed Council, have taken the initiative to preserve these canyons for future generations, and to work proactively to enhance stream flow, water quality and temperature, and indigenous fish populations, including native steelhead and salmon.

The lakes and rivers of Central Oregon offer a diverse array of world class fly-fishing opportunities, from the bull trout of the Metolius River, to the the ocean-run steelhead of the legendary Deschutes River.
