CENTRAL OREGON LIFESTYLE
Ranch At The Canyons
Life moves at your own pace at the Ranch. The Cascade Mountains provide an exhilarating backdrop year-around, but come winter, its charms turn into nature’s playground. In addition to the alpine skiing and snowboarding opportunities at nearby Mt. Bachelor and Mt. Hood, the Cascades hold a vast network of winter trails designed for snowshoeing, cross-country skiing and snowmobiling. Yet even in the winter, the valley east of the Cascades typically remains snow-free. You may enjoy a big morning on the slopes, only to follow it up with an afternoon round of golf down below.

Ranch At The Canyons
On a more intimate scale, land holders have views that encompass lush meadows, heirloom orchards and carefully tended vineyards. Since conception, Ranch at the Canyons has made a clear commitment to protect this special environment. Over 500 acres have been dedicated to conservation and left untouched, enabling indigenous plants, wildflowers and wildlife to flourish. The fruits of this effort can be realized during almost any stroll through our protected acreage, where you may see deer or elk in the meadows, ducks and geese in our lakes or red-tailed hawks and eagles hovering high above the canyons.

Some say it's like living in your own national park.

Recreational Paradise
Set against the awe-inspiring backdrop of the Cascade Mountain range, Central Oregon is perfect for those who lead active lives.

Nature walks, hiking, biking, climbing, skiing, river rafting, camping and horseback riding are just a few of our regional recreational choices.

Golf
Central Oregon, often referred to as "Palm Desert North," has more than 25 golf courses. Golf Digest has recognized it as one of the "Greatest Golf Destinations" in the world.

Winter Wonderland
The region offers a wide range of winter recreation including Olympic-quality cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and downhill skiing. Ranch at the Canyons residents enjoy easy access to two major winter sports areas – Mt. Bachelor and Mt. Hood.

At 9,065 feet, Mt. Bachelor boasts 3,000 vertical feet of skiing and snowboarding runs and more than 300 inches of dry snow annually. At 11,239 feet, Mt. Hood is the highest mountain in Oregon with 5 ski areas totaling over 4,600 acres of skiable terrain.
